As AI, cloud computing, and digital transformation continue to accelerate worldwide, Southeast Asia is emerging as one of the fastest-growing regions for digital infrastructure investment.
With more than two decades of expertise in power electronics and intelligent energy solutions, EVADA has developed advanced UPS systems, critical power solutions, and sustainable energy technologies that are well-suited to the evolving needs of AI data centers (AIDC) and digital infrastructure.
In recognition of EVADA’s capabilities and contributions in this field, Roy Xie, APAC Sales Director of EVADA, was invited to the Global Digital Infrastructure High-Quality Development Program in Thailand, engaging with industry leaders and ecosystem partners across the data center, energy, cloud, and digital infrastructure sectors.
During the visit, Roy toured several key digital infrastructure projects, including Nava Nakorn Industrial Estate, Etix Everywhere’s flagship data center campus, and China Mobile International(CMI) Data Zone. The visits provided valuable insights into Thailand’s industrial development strategy, power infrastructure planning, data center construction standards, and the growing demand for AI computing resources. Discussions also covered investment opportunities, infrastructure readiness, and policy support within Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor(EEC), one of the country's most important economic development zones.
Roy was also invited to the DIFGC 2026 Digital Infrastructure Forum and the China–Thailand Computing Power Investment Seminar, where government representatives, data center operators, energy companies, and technology providers gathered to discuss the evolving digital infrastructure landscape. Key topics included AI-driven data center development, sustainable energy integration, critical power protection, liquid cooling technologies, and the increasing demand for reliable and energy-efficient infrastructure to support next-generation computing workloads.
One of the strongest messages throughout the event was the growing momentum of Southeast Asia’s digital economy. Supported by favorable investment policies, expanding power capacity, and increasing international connectivity, Thailand is positioning itself as a key destination for data center and AI infrastructure development.
For EVADA, the program offered an excellent opportunity to strengthen market understanding and engage with industry stakeholders across the digital infrastructure ecosystem. As AI applications continue to drive higher requirements for reliability, efficiency, and sustainability, robust power infrastructure is becoming more critical than ever.
As the global digital economy continues to expand, EVADA looks forward to working closely with partners across Southeast Asia and beyond to help build a smarter, greener, and more reliable digital future.
