In the scenic and historically rich region of Huailai, located in the heart of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei economic zone, the China Telecom Intelligent Cloud Base Huailai Park stands as a cornerstone for the country’s digital and cloud infrastructure.
The facility is designed to house 19,200 cabinets, covering 280,000 servers, capable of supporting a wide array of telecom operations. While maintaining high efficiency, the facility requires minimal environmental impact with a target PUE value of below 1.15. With a total investment of 3.2 billion RMB and a land area of an impressive 185 acres, Huailai Park is poised to become a key part of China Telecom's broader green and energy-efficient data center initiative, and a leader in the East Data West Computing.
For such a large-scale and strategically important facility, the reliability of the power infrastructure are paramount. The selection of EVADA as the provider for the critical UPS systems speaks volumes about the quality and reliability of EVADA products.
To support the growing digital demands, EVADA has supplied 78 units of its HQ-M Series Modular UPS systems, ensuring that the facility runs smoothly and reliably as it expands.
Why EVADA HQ-M Series UPS?
lScalability for Future Growth: EVADA HQ-M Series UPS adopts modular design, allowing 2/4/6 modules *20/25kVA modules to achieve different capacity for the system, which is a significant advantage over traditional UPS, especially for large-scale operations like the China Telecom Intelligent Cloud Base Huailai Park, which is built to grow over time.
lHigh Power Capacity: EVADA HQ-M Series UPS is capable of handling power capacities from 20kVA to 1200kVA. Moreover, with power module N+X redundancy design, it can provide up to 20% redundancy capacity even under 100% load, providing robust support necessary for the massive and expanding high-power servers in Huailai Park.
lHigh Energy Efficiency: With system efficiency as high as 96.5%, the energy consumption and operation cost of EVADA HQ-M Series UPS are saved by more than 15% each year, making it an eco-friendly choice for Huailai Park’s sustainable operations.
As the engineering team from EVADA works on-site at the Huailai Park to fine-tune the installation, their expertise ensures that the UPS systems integrate seamlessly into the facility’s infrastructure, providing the necessary power for China Telecom’s critical operations.
With the ongoing commissioning HQ-M Series UPS systems, the Huailai Park is well on its way to becoming a central hub for China Telecom’s future-proof infrastructure.
